
The flames have been first reported shortly after 2 a.m. close to the intersection of North San Fernando Street and Division Avenue, in response to the Los Angeles Hearth Division.
The Smith-Miller Toy Co., recognized for its classic toy vehicles, had its manufacturing unit on the location in 1931. The 11,120-square-foot industrial constructing now homes a media manufacturing and occasion house generally known as L.A. River Studios.
The location had simply concluded a public occasion, presumably a marriage, when the fireplace erupted. All attendees and workers safely evacuated the power with out accidents reported.
The Los Angeles Hearth Division stated it took 157 firefighters virtually 90 minutes to entry, confine and largely extinguish the fireplace.
Firefighters remained on the scene into the morning to extinguish scorching spots.
The reason for the fireplace is beneath investigation.
