Consultant Dean Phillips of Minnesota, a Democrat working a long-shot major problem to President Biden, stated on Saturday that he would contemplate working on the ticket of No Labels, a centrist group exploring an impartial bid, if it appeared the final election could be a rematch between Mr. Biden and Donald J. Trump.
In an interview, Mr. Phillips publicly articulated for the primary time the circumstances through which he would settle for the No Labels presidential nomination, and stated he was in common communication with Nancy Jacobson, the group’s chief government.
