Broad Losses Pull Inventory Indexes Decrease

Shares opened the week decrease, hinting at why some buyers imagine the “the whole lot rally” of late 2023 might be hard-pressed to proceed. 

All three main indexes are within the purple for 2024 after Tuesday’s session. The S&P 500 slipped 0.4%, whereas the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite dropped 0.2%. The Dow Jones Industrial Common fell 0.6%, or 232 factors.
