The Arkansas Razorbacks are reportedly bringing again a well-known face to the soccer program’s teaching workers below Sam Pittman.
The crew agreed to rent Bobby Petrino because the crew’s offensive coordinator, ESPN reported Tuesday. He’s reportedly anticipated to be on campus as early as Wednesday. The college determined to carry again Pittman following the crew’s disappointing 4-7 season.

Petrino was as profitable a coach may get with Arkansas with out having a nationwide championship on his resume. He coached the Razorbacks from 2008 to 2011 and led them to 10-win seasons, which included Sugar Bowl and Cotton Bowl appearances. In 2011, Arkansas completed the season with a Cotton Bowl win and ranked No. 5 within the last Related Press ballot.

Petrino was fired in 2012 in wake of an enormous scandal following a motorbike crash. It was revealed Petrino was with the girl he employed as a student-athlete developmental coordinator for the soccer program after he initially stated he was alone. He later admitted he was having an affair with the girl.
He famously confirmed as much as a press convention with a bruised face and neck collar and was later dismissed with trigger as college officers decided he misled the athletic director and the general public about his relationship with the girl.

Petrino returned to teaching in late 2012 when he grew to become the top coach of Western Kentucky. He coached the Hilltoppers to an 8-4 document in 2013 and returned to Louisville and coached the Cardinals from 2014 to 2018.
Earlier than returning to Arkansas, Petrino served below Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M. However he was reportedly advised he wouldn’t be retained below new head coach Mike Elko.
